Subject: SSLUG had a big hit with "windows refund day" -> "Linux install day"

At March 9. SSLUG (Sk=E5ne Sj=E6lland Linux User Group) had its version of =
the
Windows refund day. We decided that even if Microsoft did not want to
give us money back, we could at least offer people to have Linux installed
for free - so they could get a quality OS running.

250-300 people attended - we had a couple of lectures about a Linux
network system and Linux in general and we gave out approximately 400
Linux CDROM's for free - sponsored by Danish companies and computer
magazines.

It was a very big succes with approximately 50 Linux machine installed.

Danish national TV did appear at the install-party and made a good
presentation about Linux as the alternative til Windows in their late
