I'm passing along this Python language news tip, in case you haven't
seen it, in hopes it might make this week's edition.

Folks,
We have just made Python's source code available to anyone via a
public read-only CVS mirror. Previously, only PSA members had access
to this mirror, but we polled the membership and got overwhelming
support for opening access up.

Note - This is, of course, referring to pre-release source code access and
development snapshots. Source has always been available for released versions.
Also, the PSA is looking for new members (as always), and suggestions on
what can be done to increase membership (such as incentives that can be
offered), are welcome.
