LinuxStart.Com Now Offering Discussion and Information Forums
April 6, 1999
http://www.LinuxStart.Com

LinuxStart.Com unveiled a Discussion Forum today on their web-site.
According to Garry Dolley, a spokesman for
LinuxStart.Com. " The discussion areas are arranged in various sections,

so that Newbies and Gurus alike can exchange tips and suggestions, which
aid in the promotion of the Linux Operating System.

Additional categories include; an area for the discussion of various
distributions, the installation of peripherals as well as a safe haven
for Newbies, by way of example.

These Forums should provide a quick and useful way for users to quickly
address issues and concerns they may have, or which might not have been
resolved through their search at LinuxStart or other sites and
resources.

The Forums will allow Linux Folk from around the globe to comment or
assist, in the true spirit of universal open source and free exchange of
ideas.

A section called " Suggest a Forum," will allow visitors to suggest
topics and forums for discussion- This should insure reader input and
keep the topics relevant and up-to-date.

The organization and design of the discussion board is simple and clean,

very easy to navigate and submit. Each thread is displayed for easy
reading on a full page. A large and clear font was utilized-this design
was implemented
based on input from visitors that the threads on many discussion boards
is difficult to follow.

It was felt that the addition of the Forum to LinuxStart, would provide
visitors with an additional resource for Linux Related information, and
provide a place to post concerns for further clarification as well as
aids to others in their Linux quest!

"We have high hopes," says Dolley, "that these forums will become a
vibrant and useful places for the Linux World."

LinuxStart.Com sees its mission as providing a spot where people can
find a great deal of Linux Information .

In addition to LinuxStart Search and Index, and these Discussion Forums,

LinuxStart.Com also provides Free Web Hosting to hundreds of Linux

Wide.
