Subject: Open Networks 99 update

SSLUG (www.sslug.dk), one of the Scandinavien Linux User groups, held
a conference Open Networks 99 last weekend together with DKUUG (the
Danish Unix User Group - www.dkuug.dk).

The conference was well attended, and there were a lot of interesting
talks. Most of the talks were given in Danish or Swedish, but a few
were in English. Among these were talks by Miguel De Icaza about
GNOME, Kalle Dalheimer about KDE, werner Koch about GnuPG, Jes
S=F8rensen about Gigabit networks, and Mattias Wingstedt about the Roxen
webserver.

The conference was a great succes, with many interresting thing
happening around in the corners. Many BOFs, posters and discussions
were held, and a lot of cuddly penguins were sold be the exhibitors.
Many ideas were born, and new code will arise from the thoughts and
discussions that happened durings the conference.

Most of the talks from Open Networks 99 can be found as realvideo
sessions. Thanks to Tele Danmark Internet for taping it all, and making
the possible, so now the English talks are now available at
http://on99.dk.net/real
The full list of talks (also the Danish ones) can be found at
