Subject: secure Linux distribution

Hi,

I'm glad to announce that the plans to create a secure
Linux distribution my employer and I had have solidified
as a direct result of the exposure on LWN.net.

Of course any effort as important as a new, security minded,
distribution should be mostly community based, but it will
need some entity to do the hard work of starting up the
project and providing coordination and an infrastructure
to support the project.

We are looking for people, organisations and businesses
wanting to help with creating the secure Linux distribution.
Mailing lists and web space will be provided shortly, in
the mean time people can take a look at the full announcement
and plan at:

About Le Reseau: Le Reseau netwerksystemen BV is a network
security and Unix / Open Source consultancy firm located in
Groningen, the Netherlands.  Le Reseau was established in
1992 by Arthur Donkers, an active member of the dutch Open
Source movement and a contributing editor of SysAdmin magazine.
It currently employs a team of Unix and network security
experts (well, and a Linux kernel hacker, of course :).
