Greetings!

Here is the 6th issue of Midgard Weekly Summary, created
for helping people interested in The Midgard Project to
keep up with latest developments.

-New developments
 Jukka Zitting is back from vacation and Midgard 
 development is again progressing with a rapid pace.

 We are now looking at utilizing XML in Midgard 
 for internal document handling and interaction 
 with other application environments. These features 
 will not get into the forthcoming 1.1 release, but
 we try to get something usable out by August.

-Midgard 1.1 alpha in CVS
 A test version of Midgard 1.1 has now been committed
 to The Midgard Project's CVS repository. The new version
 includes many new features like coherent handling of
 file attachments, administration utilities for
 site mirroring and Topic analyzation. Midgard also
 supports now adding Midgard directories to non-Midgard
 hosts. We look forward to releasing Midgard 1.1 to the
 public by the end of the week.
