  Linux OS requires a site dedicated to practical application of
  open-source technology in the enterprise.

  05/25/1999 -- JNS called upon the open-source community today to help
it
  generate content for a site truly dedicated to supporting Linux and
Open   Source in the Enterprise. 

  The site will publish 1-2 articles/day.  Articles are expected to be
1-5 pages long and must be:


      High Quality (worthy of being in print media)

      Practical (On-the-job useful to most readers)

      Unique and Interesting (Open-Source/Linux Focused)


  "The site is not meant to be a 'slashdot'.  We've watched coverage of
open-source and Linux flourish on the web for the last several years. 
There are sites dedicated to novices, kernel details, general news,
online commerce, and individual software packages - but there has been a
tremendous void in the area of providing high quality useful information
about deploying and supporting Linux/Open Source in the enterprise.  We
would like to fill it with the help of the community." stated creator M.
Marlowe.

  The site currently runs on a Linux Server hosted at the Exodus Irvine
Data Center with a 10mbit Internet Connection.  It is built upon the
Zope Application Server and Squishdot Product Extensions.
