Rave Systems RackMount-2UAXi Runs Flawlessly at Napa Valley Conference

(Sterling Heights, Michigan - August 11, 1999)  Rave Computer
Association, Inc. is proud to announce its’ successful demonstration of
Rave Systems RackMount-2UAXi (RM-2UAXi) running on Linux operating
system at Sun Microelectronics Worldwide Sales Staff Conference held
August 3rd, 1999.

Rave Computer Association, Inc. took its newest server appliance, Rave
Systems RackMount-2UAXi to Napa Valley, California for Sun
Microelectronics annual worldwide sales conference.  The Rave Systems
RackMount-2UAXi was bundled with Red Hat Linux 6.0 and Apache web server
application, performed flawlessly in the duration of the three day
conference.

Rave Computer Association was the first to demonstrate a SPARCengine
UltraAXi-based system running Linux OS integrated into a 19 inch 2U (3
½") rackmount chassis.  The Rave Systems RackMount-2UAXi features Suns’
64-bit UltraAXi motherboard powered by upgradable UltraSPARC-IIi
processors.  This AXi system is ideal solution for small to medium
corporate Linux users looking for robust performance and scalability
found in a SPARCengine.
