Hi,
I just tried to upgrade my box from RH6.0 to 6.1,
I have the following partitions:
hda1 fat32
hda2 linux (contained RH 6.0)
hda3 linux swap
hda4 linux =20

note that hda4 was unformatted (I did not run mke2fs on this partition)

when the installer tries to autodetect the partitions,
it fails on hda4 and says mount: invalid argument,
and then the installer freezes.

after rebooting and running mke2fs on /dev/hda4 , the installer upgraded
my box without troubles.

That means during install you should check if there is not a valid =
filesystem on the partition.

just my 0.02c

PS: I know these idiotic cases do happen only to me.
:-)

regards,
Benno.
