SCO BECOMES LINUXMALL.COM PARTNER

LinuxMall.com

AURORA, CO (October 14, 1999) -- LinuxMall.com announced today that SCO
would be investing in LinuxMall.com and becoming a LinuxMall.com partner.
With their investment, an SCO representative will hold a seat on the
LinuxMall.com board of directors. In addition, it was announced that the
investment firm Hambrecht and Quist is also participating in the investment
in LinuxMall.com.

"Working with SCO is an exciting opportunity for LinuxMall.com to partner
with an established player in the computing industry and draw on their
experience and resources. This arrangement allows us the latitude to continue
doing business with the Linux Community in the same independent way
that we always have," said Mark Bolzern, CEO of LinuxMall.com "We're going
to be expanding rapidly with the rest of the Linux Community and we're pleased
to have SCO's assistance."

When asked if this investment would affect LinuxMall.com's long-standing,
vendor-neutral and community-oriented business approach, Bolzern responded
by saying "No. SCO's investment gives them a non-controlling position with
LinuxMall.com, and yet gives us the ability to take LinuxMall.com to the next
level and meet the needs of the growing Linux Community."

LinuxMall.com is the leading Linux E-Commerce site and portal, forging
a new business model based on Open Source and Community involvement.
LinuxMall.com, a Sponsoring Corporate Member of Linux International,
has been involved with the Linux Community for many years and is dedicated
to providing the best service, selection information and prices to
benefit the Linux Community.

"This is an exciting opportunity for SCO and LinuxMall.com," said Doug
Michels, president and CEO of SCO. "LinuxMall.com has a solid reputation as
a leader in the Open Source arena, and is effectively using e-commerce and
Internet economics to build a strong business model. SCO's brings years of
industry experience in the international software market to this
partnership, which along with Hambrecht & Quist's financial expertise will
help propel the next chapter of LinuxMall.com's growth and success."
