Graphics Muse adds backend and MyNetscape support, updates Q and A and
Reader Mail sections.

Backends make it easier for other sites and individuals to automatically
keep track of whats going on at the 'Muse.

At the suggestion of a the nice folks over at Linux Weekly News, I've
added a backend (http://www.graphics-muse.com/backend) to my Graphics Muse
site. The backend includes a simple text file (much like LWN's text version)
which can be parsed with tools like NewsClipper or using your own, home-grown
parser. Additionally, an XML formatted file exists which can also be parsed.
This file is currently being used by the MyNetscape network, so if you use
that you can click on the "Add to MyNetscape" button on any of the front pages
to place the 'Muse headlines on your MyNetscape front page.

Both the text and XML backends will be updated every time I make changes to
the lead articles in any section of the Muse.

For those interested in the 'Muse database of tools and sites and the
collection of graphics books I maintain, the mSQL dumps from these databases
are also provided in the backend directory. I might turn these into text files
to make them more easily parsed in the future, but for now the mSQL dumps will
have to suffice. Other News: The Q and A and ReaderMail sections are now
online and I'll be updating them as often as readers send me questions - which
is just about everyday.

Enjoy!
