Welcome to the weekly newsletter of the Linux Professional
Institute(tm)!  LPI is dedicated to providing a standardized,
multi-national, and respected program to certify levels of individual
expertise in Linux.  Our goal is to design and deliver such a program
from within the Linux community, using both volunteer and hired
resources as necessary. We resolve to undertake a well considered, open,
disciplined development process, leading directly to the establishment
of a recognized and widely endorsed Linux certification body.

What's News?

The Linux Business Expo is Underway!
------------------------------------
  I'll be keeping things quiet in the news this week because I
  don't want to spoil all the announcements that are going to
  take place in Las Vegas.  Suffice to say, there's been some 
  very good news on the funding front, and that T1a is still on 
  track.  If you're like me and unlucky enough to be stuck at
  home, keep an eye on this spot...I'll update you next week.
