MandrakeSoft and Prisma Opentech Sign Agreement for Distribution of
Linux-Mandrake in South America

Pasadena, December 4, 1999 – MandrakeSoft, the publisher of the
user-friendly and award-winning Linux-Mandrake operating system, today
announced that Prisma Opentech will be the first South American
distributor of its latest Linux-Mandrake release, Linux-Mandrake
GoldPack 2000.

Linux-Mandrake GoldPack 2000 was demonstrated on November 27th at the
Java Center in Chacaito (Venezuela) during an installation party.  Both
individual and professional users praised this latest version of
Linux-Mandrake for its increased ease of use.

GoldPack 2000 will be released to the growing South American market as
soon as an agreement for local phone support is signed.
