FREEMED v0.1 (Laika) was released today, January 2, 2000. FREEMED is an

language set.
The electronic record is compliant with HL7/v3 standards and can
interface with GEHR [Good Electronic Health Record] based systems.
Version 0.1 represents the first official release of the program.
Systems programmer and designer Jeff Buchbinder said the system is live
in several locations. Contact Franklin Valier at Hinckley42@aol.com
