Your suspicion, while reasonable, turns out to be wrong. We are planning on putting up a more detailed explanation of our intentions in the next couple of days. For now, suffice it to say that it's our intent to release under the GPL. I'll notify the list when they put up the statement. I believe it will focus on the project relative to the GPL. Having a secure operating system available to the community will also benefit us, by giving us a non-proprietary platform for our security products.
