SPIRO-Linux Developers Introduce a New Web-Enabled
Telephone Administration System
January 21, 2000 - (Wayne, NE) SPIRO-Linux announces
the development of a Linux Administration System,
SPIRO-Linux WETMINtS. A powerful web-based
administration interface for Linux systems.
Using WETMINtS you can configure DNS, Samba, NFS,
local/remote filesystems and more using your Web-
Enabled cellular phone. WETMINtS is simple web enabled
cellular phone software, and consists of a number of
CGI programs which directly update system files.
WETMINtS supports all SPIRO-Linux and other linux
operating systems. Standard operations available with
WETMINtS include:
o Creating and editing Unix users and groups
o Login to your system with telnet
o List, Kill and Renice running processes on your
system
o Manage WETMINtS configuration
o Perform network diagnostics (ping, traceroute, port
scanning)
o List current logins.
About SPIRO-Linux
SPIRO-Linux is the only distribution that comes with
five easy-to-use Server installations (Mega Server, Web
Server, Application Server, Name Server, File and Print
Server) and three Workstation installations (General
Purpose, Development and Graphics), plus an upgrade
