Subject: Mozilla M13 spot review

Tried it, liked it, not there yet but close. Woth getting if your work
involves the Web.

It crashes about 4x as often as Navigator 4.7, and less predictably. It
is noticeably faster than M12 and faster than N4.7. Oddly enough, the
gap widens slightly when working through Squid. I could make no display
artifacts during my testing time, but neither could I make any Java or
JavaScript work. SSL (https) doesn't seem to be there yet either. Table
rendering is more predictable (and sensible) than N4.7 for odd cases.
Scrolling is sometimes a bit jerky.

Summary: if M14 is as much an improvement as M13 was, it will become my
default browser. I have started using M13 for non-mission critical work,
and for yet another software opinion of websites that I build.

Working SSL would be nice for M14, but some sites seem nicer without
Java. (-;

when in doubt, run in circles, scream and shout. The two great secrets
of success are: don't tell anyone everything that you know.
