Linuxpower needs more manpower!

Linuxpower is one of the oldest and most established online Linux zines, and has established a name for itself as a good source for daily information and informative articles on what's happening in the Linux world. In addition to that our interviews have become somewhat of a trademark, with highlights including celebrities such as Rasterman and Mandrake of Enlightenment, Scott Draeker and Sam Lantinga of Lokigames or more recently with several kernel developers.

Linuxpower also hosts a number of high visibility Open Source projects, including the popular X-Chat IRC client.

We are now in the middle of small reorganization after having upgraded the engine behind the Linuxpower.org site. As part of that restructuring we are looking for more people willing to help out with writing articles, reviews and tutorials. All you need is an interest in Linux and everything Open Source combined with a wish to contribute to the Linux community.

Like most Linux projects we are volunteer based, so we can't offer you anything but fame, fun and some valuable experiences (okay, and maybe some items as tokens of our appreciation, after you been part of the team for a while.) You are also free to choose your own topics at linuxpower.org, whether it is kernel development, Gnome, KDE, FreeBSD or something totally different, and we will help you get started.

If you are interested or just curious, don't hesitate to contact our Staff Manager, Christian Schaller at the the following address:

christian@linuxpower.org.

Or contact us at the Linuxpower IRC channel found on irc.openproject.net in channel #linuxpower Of course, feel free to visit the linuxpower.org website and familiarize yourself with us, if you aren't already.
