Total Impact Announces Co-Development Partnership with LinuxPPC Inc.

Companies to collaborate on porting Linux to Total Impact's multiprocessor PowerPC hardware

Camarillo, CA - February 9, 2000 -- Total Impact announced today that it 
has entered into a partnership with LinuxPPC, Inc., the leading Linux
distributor for PowerPC based systems, to co-develop a Linux software
version for Total Impact's new mPOWER line of systems, upgrades and
servers.

LinuxPPC Inc. is the oldest and most established Linux on PowerPC development house, and produces the award-winning LinuxPPC distribution.  The company will working with Total Impact to port Linux to Total Impact's
multiprocessor boards and server products.

"This fuses two powerful elements: the PowerPC processor and the Linux
operating system," said Jeff Carr, president of LinuxPPC Inc. "Total Impact
and LinuxPPC will redefine server performance for the PowerPC world."

Total Impact will be releasing its line of Total mPOWER systems in late
March. The product line will include multiprocessor PCI boards and
multiprocessor servers based on a PowerPC motherboard.
