Linuxcare Announces Authorized Training Partner Program to Offer Linux
Instruction and Certification

CALC/Canterbury Corp., triOS Training Centres, Symatrix, Inc. and
Ameriteach-UCI Mentoring Centers Facilitate Training and Certification of
Instructors 

SAN FRANCISCO, February 21, 2000?Linuxcare, Inc. today announced the
expansion of its Linuxcare University authorized training partner program,
with additional training centers throughout the United States and
Canada. The centers will instruct and prepare IT professionals and
system/network engineers for Linux skills certification in many major
distributions of Linux. 

For the first time, Linuxcare University, a strategic business unit of
Linuxcare, has teamed with premier training centers to share its in-depth
Linux knowledge to the general public, via licensed training
partners. Partners in the training program will receive technical support
for instructors, instructor sharing throughout the Linuxcare University
Partner Program, and access to prominent Linuxcare gurus.

"The first step in implementing a Linux solution is training, " said
Michael P. Angelo, Linuxcare University's certification manager. "Linuxcare
is placing a heavy emphasis on education, while also offering innovative

Linuxcare University will be actively recruiting and authorizing additional
training partners to offer Linux courses. New partners can take advantage
of Linuxcare University?s network of U.S. and Canadian mentoring centers to
get their instructors trained and certified.
