Twenty years military service lends Terra Soft a powerful hand.

LOVELAND, Colorado -- 29 February 2000 -- Terra Soft Solutions, Inc., the
leading developer of PowerPC Linux solutions, today announced that Dave
Herres will join Terra Soft as the Liaison to Federal Sales as well as
serve as Chief Financial Officer. 

Herres brings to Terra Soft 20+ years service as an information operations
officer with the US Air Force. Over his expansive career, Dave held key,
senior-level positions within the Office of the Secretary of Defense and
the Joint Chiefs of Staff. 

"This is an important step for us as we are now working with larger
investments and continue to move Black Lab Linux Workstations into the
federal sector," states Kai Staats, CEO, Terra Soft Solutions, Inc.

With Herres as Liaison to federal sales, US federal agencies and
government contractors seeking to work with Terra Soft have an "expert"
point of contact familiar with government acquisition policy and
procedures.

Staats continues, "Dave has supported us with his knowledge, experience,
and enthusiasm for the past year --we are pleased to have him officially
on board."

While assigned in Washington, DC, The Office of the Secretary of Defense
selected Dave to serve as the Director, National Security Information
Programs with the US Information Agency (USIA). In this position, he
authored and disseminated US information operations and technology policy
to over 110 US Embassies and Consulates abroad.

Dave holds Masters Degrees in International Business Commerce and Community
Planning. He is a graduate of the Industrial College of the Armed Forces,
National Defense University as well as the University of South Carolina.
Dave's international travels include assignments in Belgium, Central
America, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Spain, and France.
