New, fresh souce code is available for you to crash your machine with, at ftp://stm.lbl.gov/pub/comedi. Also, there is a 1-line bug fix for comedilib-0.7.8, which is triggered occasionally by the new code. Don't bother upgrading comedilib unless you notice problems. (The problem is: every program crashes immediately.) Bug fixes in this release: - elimination of a rather nasty memory leak - general bug chasing in dt2801 driver New drivers: - ii_pci20kc for Intelligent Instruments PCI-20001C carrier board, thanks to Markus Kempf - pcl812 for Advantech PCL-812PG, PCL813B and compatibles, thanks to Michal Dobes - Two virtual drivers that use real-time tasks to emulate features on advance data acquisition hardware (not really new, but...) New features: - new Comedi command structure/ioctl actually works, several drivers have been updated for it. - comedi_data_*() and comedi_dio_*() functions have been ported from comedilib to kcomedilib - range information is now fully modularized, basically a completion of driver modularization in the mid .30s. - all boards now use the same timer specification for sampling rates - new code that, as a side effect, triggers a bug in comedilib - updated and enhanced the INSTALL file - included new INSTALL.RTAI and INSTALL.RTLinux files dave... -- [rtl] --- To unsubscribe: echo "unsubscribe rtl" | mail majordomo@rtlinux.org OR echo "unsubscribe rtl <Your_email>" | mail majordomo@rtlinux.org --- For more information on Real-Time Linux see: http://www.rtlinux.org/~rtlinux/
