German Chameleon Inks Deal with Canadian Dust Puppy
 
Worldwide Linux distributor, SuSE, and Userfriendly.org Announce Cross
Marketing Agreement to Support SuSE Linux and Popular IT Cartoons
 
 
Vancouver, BC and Oakland, CA - March 2, 2000 - SuSE, a worldwide Linux
distributor, and userfriendly.org, a leading online entertainment
destination for the IT technical community, announced a joint-venture
marketing and promotional alliance.

The agreement, described as "User Friendly Media's Dust Puppy Meets SuSE's
Chameleon Logo," names SuSE (www.suse.com) as User Friendly Media's
(www.userfriendly.org) first site alliance partner, providing financial
and technical support to the company's site and popular cast of cartoon
characters. In addition, SuSE receives free monthly cartoons for its Web
site and permission to use User Friendly Media's copyrighted characters
for promotional and advertising benefit.

"The Linux market is greatly served by SuSE's careful attention to
technical excellence and their commitment to the creative, free spirit
approach of the movement," said Barry Carlson, president of User Friendly
Media. "We are very pleased to be partnering with SuSE and look forward to
engineering great fun together."

Described as "no strings attached support" of User Friendly, the
collaboration is designed to assist UF in reaching its site development
goals and community initiatives as a leading online entertainment and
community destination for the global IT technical community. UF company
initiatives include cross-promotions in Europe and the U.S., and an
expansion of UF's service offerings to its rapidly expanding audience of
loyal viewers. Currently, Europeans account for about 24% of all site
visits to UF, while the United States leads with 55%.

For SuSE, the association with userfriendly.org promotes increased North
American awareness of SuSE Linux, as the company continues to expand its
US and Canadian presence. After experiencing 350% revenue growth in 1999
and winning the "Favorite Distribution" award at the LinuxWorld Conference
& Expo again this year, the company is aggressively creating business
partnerships and associations that enhance the core technical superiority
