Hello, Having promised a long time ago that I wanted to rewrite the NFSv3 writeback code in order to eliminate the fixed COMMIT size constraint, I'm pleased to announce that a first release of this code is now available. In order not to mislead people into thinking that the new code is fully tested and ready for production systems, I've put it in the prerelease area, http://www.fys.uio.no/~trondmy/src/prereleases/linux-2.2.14-nfsv3-0.20.0.dif.bz2 Please could people give it a spin? I'd be particularly interested in seeing iozone/bonnie-like comparisons between version 0.19.2 and version 0.20.0, as well as the usual stability/will_it_crash_run_make_-j100_bzImage stuff. Cheers, Trond _______________________________________________ NFS maillist - NFS@lists.sourceforge.net http://lists.sourceforge.net/mailman/listinfo/nfs
