Linux Valley, the Italian Linux Portal, launches its new
version on 18. March
=============================================================

[Noci (Ba) - Italy, 21. March, 2000]
This second edition of the Portal is rich in innovations: the
traditional areas of deepening and information have new functions
in order to offer to users an interactive community space.

Particularly, each text on the site can be enriched by the
reader who has the possibility to send his comments directly
on-line.

The News section has been optimized and is the right way for the
visitors to be informed about the Linux world.

The heart of Linux Valley is the Channels area: a wide collection
of links to every sort of Linux resources available on the Net.

The concept of Portal itself places the Channels in a preferential
position, giving the possibility of interacting with the user
who can suggest new sites and/or resources to be added to the
archive.

The search function has been improved, now convering all the
site's sections.

A Mirror area has been also added: it holds the most important
Italian and foreign web-magazines which deal with Linux o.s.

These are only some of the innovations the new version of 
Linux Valley site presents.
