        * Add arch64().  Keith Owens.
        * Ensure that mandir exists. Giacomo Catenazzi <cate@student.ethz.ch>
        * Assume MOD_DELETED flag when QM_... gets ENOENT. Keith Owens.
        * util/config.c (check_update): New function.  (need_update): New
          function. (config_read): If -A option given and update not needed,
          exit.  depmod/depmod.c (DEPMOD_MAIN): New option -A.  (depmod_usage):
          Update usage info. Tim Waugh <twaugh@redhat.com>
        * Derive genksyms prefix from well known symbol, automatically picks up
          unusual symbol prefixes. Suggested by Edouard G. Parmelan because
          Redhat used "smp" instead of "smp_" :(. Different implementation by
          Keith Owens.
        * Add ide modules directory. Keith Owens.
        * Truncate alias loops. Pass alias result to probe[all]. Bug found and
          patch suggested by Pablo Bianucci, different implementation by Keith
          Owens.

Anybody using devfs should upgrade to modutils 2.3.10, otherwise the
suggested modules.conf in Documentation/filesystem/devfs does not work.
