Howdy everybody.  Last night at the Bay Area Linux Users Group meeting I
announced that we are going to make ZEO Open Source and thus a
first-class feature of the Zope platform.  For more information:

Some quick notes:

  o A first release for a very small, qualified group of testers will
happen mid-April

  o General release some weeks after that

ZEO (Zope Enterprise Option) turns Zope into a *distributed*
transactional object system, allowing people to add processors,
machines, and networks to scale their web applications.
