It's ready!

After 10 months of work, Tritonus 0.2.0 now covers the major
functionality of the Java Sound 1.0 API. Tritonus currently runs on
GNU/Linux i386 systems. Ports to other platforms are planned or under
development. Tritonus is available under the terms of the GNU Library
General Public License. The javalayer mp3 decoder is available under the
terms of the GNU General Public License.

FEATURES
- Java Sound 1.0 API
- playback and recording of sound via the Enlightened Sound Daemon
- reading and writing of .aiff, .au and .wav files
- A-law and u-law decoder and encoder
- mp3 decoder
- MIDI sequencer (playback)
- Hardware synthesizer support
- external MIDI IN and OUT
- MIDI file reading
- MIDI file writing (EXPERIMENTAL)

BUGS, LIMITATIONS
- no volume control
- no linear converter
- no sampling rate converter
- MIDI seqencer can't capture
- sysex events are not handled
- no soundbank management
