The big change in this release is to the program map output syntax to be compatable with Sun's multimount map syntax. The upshot is you have to update your /etc/auto.net script, but you'll also be able to get multimounts from an NIS map. I also went over my past autofs mail and incorporated any reasonable looking fixes and patches; please check to see if yours is there, and ping me if I missed something. Please test this out and make sure it does what you expect. Available from ftp://ftp.us.kernel.org/pub/linux/daemons/autofs/testing-v4/ ^^ change as appropriate Other changes: * Hide all evidence of failed mounts * Major rework of multimounting. parse_sun module now does all the work. This change means the output syntax of program maps has changed; see samples/auto.net for the new syntax. * parse_sun accepts '\' to quote spaces in the value part of the map * Fix to lookup_multi from Darrel Hankerson <hankedr@dms.auburn.edu> J
