For Your Information, Immediate Release
* On Monday, May 8, the PHP Association is making available the latest
version of its open-source, server-side PHP scripting language. The new
version is PHP 4.0 RC2. The new version can be downloaded from
www.PHP.net.

* Zend Technologies has modified the Zend Optimizer (Beta) for
compatibility with PHP 4.0 RC2. The optimizer can be downloaded at
www.Zend.com.

* More than 70 thousand downloads of PHP 4.0 RC1 from the PHP.net site
occurred in April.

* E-Soft's latest research indicates that the number of "visible"
domains has surpassed two million.
