Introducing New 'Lite' Version of Linux

VANCOUVER, May 14, 2000 - LuteLinux.com, a Vancouver based Linux
development company, is releasing a new 'Lite' version of Linux at the
Technical Certification Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada, May 15, 2000.

This 'Lite' version combines the version 2.2 Linux kernel with application
programs such as Netscape Communicator, games and utilities. It also
includes an easy-to-use installer and step by step booklet to guide users
through the installation and configuration process of Linux and the X
Window system.

LuteLinux is giving away their 'Lite' Linux version at cost in a CD-ROM
format. Users interested in exploring the growing possibilities of Linux,
can also download a free copy at www.lutelinux.com.

A full version of LuteLinux will be released later in the year, which
includes an office integration suite similar to MS-Office(r), web-hosting,
as well as other application and development tools suitable for the
workstation and server environment.

According to an April, 1999 report - Linux Operating System Market Overview
- by market researcher International Data Corp. (IDC), growth in commercial
shipments of the Linux operating system will outpace other client / server
operating environments through 2003. Linux commercial shipments will grow
at a compound annual rate of 25 percent, compared to 10% for all other
client operating environments, and 12% for all other server operating
environments.

LuteLinux.com is partnering with On-Track Computer Training to provide
on-line learning as well as instructor-led training on its product.
Subscribed customers will receive regular updates and telephone
support. They will also be entitled to technical support, host newsgroups
and chat sessions, which will be provided both on their website,
www.lutelinux.com.

Jay Daunheimer, President of LuteLinux.com, believes that this growth,
coupled with the lack of training in Linux applications, presents a real
opportunity for LuteLinux.com. "Most training companies focus on training
Linux at the technical level while there seems to be a lack of training at
the 'user' level. We intend to fill that gap".
