Project Status
====================

Coding Projects Underway:

As a disclaimer for everyone involved in the coding efforts, most of the
core team was on the road over the Memorial Day Weekend and most
changes/updates have not been checked in. As a matter of fact, I didn't get
to check email until today, because I thought it would be a good idea to
tweak my Caldera install whilst on the airplane and without install media...
I must have been wearing my "Bad Idea" jeans...

  - icmpd/Solaris port -- No update on status this week.
  - icmpd/FreeBSD port -- Underway. No status available.
  - Event Subsystem -- Underway. Documentation referenced below.
  - SNMP Trap Receiver -- Underway. In ALPHA testing...

Event Sub-system Documentation:

The high-level flows have been documented and have been published to the
"events" mailing list. You can check them out at
http://www.opennms.org/eventSubsystem.gif.

Contributing
====================

Memorial Day Weekend. The onset of summer. A time for good friends, good
food, and a beautiful series of JDBC calls that interface to the Bluebird
database. Hey, you throw your barbeque, we'll throw ours.

By the way, you're invited to our barbeque, especially if you have a
tendency to bring the following covered dishes:

  - Java Swing skills in an au gratin sauce.
  - JDBC experience and bratwurst preparation.
  - Technical Documentation and/or organizing the softball game.
