Security for Sysadmins: LISA, USENIX's signature conference for system
administrators, is abuzz about system security. LISA 2000 features a new
Security Administration Symposium track offering refereed papers, invited
speakers, panels, and other presentations on the struggles and perils in
maintaining secure systems and networks.

Can you share your own practical experiences in handling security incidents?
Have you developed new technology or security tools and techniques for system
administration professionals? If so then we would like to encourage you to
contribute your ideas, proposals for papers, invited talks or tutorials that
cover all aspects of security administration.

In particular if you have something to say about Distributed Denial of Service
(DDOS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), managing authentication systems
(including Public Key Infrastructures) then we would very much like to hear
from you.

For a complete list of topics and for submission guidelines, please visit
our conference website: http://www.usenix.org/events/lisa2000.

Paper submissions are due on June 6, 2000. All that is needed at this time is
a summary of two to four pages for the paper selection process. The summary
should contain: a 1 paragraph abstract; no more than 4 pages of text
summarizing the final paper; and any relevant charts or graphs.

We want to put your name on the program.
