Dear Sir or Madam,

First we would like to thank you on behalf of the Linux
and Open Source communities for supporting Linux and other
open source software and providing services for these 
communities.

We, FreeLinuxCD.org, are volunteers who think everyone who
wants to use Linux should be able to do so regardless of 
their financial conditions and whether or not they have 
access to a fast Internet connection to download the latest
distributions.

We also believe that the best medium to install Linux from 
is a CD-ROM which minimizes the complications of installing
and can be easily stored for future use.
For this reason we started the Free Linux CD Project hoping 
to ease the conversion process of first time Linux users and
to give people who already use Linux a convenient way of 
trying another distribution.

Being volunteers with no real financial support, we know that
we can't do what we want to do all by ourselves. 
We need your support to take this project off the ground. We 
need your support to provide a decent level of service to 
future Linux users. That's why we are asking you to become
one of our sponsors. All of our sponsors will be listed on 
our web site. For major sponsors we will also accept ad banners
and we will make sure their banner stands out by not accepting 
any banners from companies whose philosophies are not 
in line with ours, and Linux and Open Source communities.

We certainly believe we can make a difference. There are many 
ways you can help us make that difference. The most obvious is 
contributing LINUX CDs to our project. Since we are wishing 
not to charge anything for the services we provide, you can 
also make donations that will cover part of the shipping 
expenses.
