Subject: Linux NetworX Establishes Presence in Silicon Valley, Opens San Jose Office

SANDY, UTAH, June 27, 2000 - Linux NetworX Inc., a leading provider of large-scale 
clustered computer solutions for Internet, industry and research fields, opened 
an office in San Jose, Calif. and named Guillermo Buitrago director of worldwide 
sales. The San Jose office strategically positions Linux NetworX in the heart 
of Silicon Valley.

Operating out of the San Jose office, Buitrago will lead the Linux NetworX sales 
team into promising new international markets. He brings with him more than 14 
years experience in the areas of high performance computing and high-speed networking 
technologies.

"Establishing a presence in Silicon Valley is a key for Linux NetworX to expand 
future business and customer partnerships," said Clark Roundy, vice president 
of Linux NetworX. "We are very excited about Guillermo's ability to direct a 
sales team and to generate significant revenue growth figures through markets 
worldwide."

Buitrago is the latest addition to the Linux NetworX upper management. The company 
will continue to hire top talent, like Buitrago, to boost the company's knowledge 
and expertise as it gathers investment funding and forms strategic business partnerships.

About Guillermo Buitrago
With extensive experience in high performance computing and high-speed networking 
technologies, Buitrago will lead the Linux NetworX sales team and drive strategic 
industry development efforts. Prior to joining Linux NetworX, Buitrago served 
as senior business development manager for GigaNet, Inc., a maker of high-speed 
networking devices, where he developed various new vertical markets and reported 
impressive revenue growth figures. Buitrago also worked for a combined eight 
years with both Hitachi, Ltd. and Fujitsu, Ltd. concentrating on international 
sales development for supercomputer and enterprise networking products. He earned 
a master's degree in economics from New Mexico State University and a bachelor's 
of science in computer science and mathematics from Saint Edward's University.
