It's coming.  Yellowdog and Linux/PPC, Inc will have RTLinux 3.0 on them
so you're covered for PowerPC.

For x86, we have a redhat CD image on our ftp site with the RTLinux kernel
and modules ready to go.

The stock Linux/PPC kernel needs no change, in fact.  Just build your RTL
module, or install the binary rpm we have on our ftp site, and insmod it.
RTLinux can hook into the stock Linux/PPC kernels unmodified.
