Subject: [KBUILD] Documentation/kbuild/makefiles.txt draft available

I wrote a big hunk of documentation for the kernel Makefiles
(550 lines so far).  The draft is available here:

    ftp://ftp.shout.net/pub/users/mec/kbuild/makefiles.txt

This is a draft: it's not ready for merging yet.

I want to document the existing stuff before adding $(LINK_FIRST) and
$(LINK_LAST).  I believe that Makefile writers are already groping in
the dark with undocumented features of Rules.make.
