All previously known problems have been solved. We're heading for the next stable version (0.7). This will be one of the last pre-release versions as I feel confident the code is pretty good now. Please test the code is if it were final :-) Current version : 0.6.0-pre38 Kernels supported: 2.2.16, 2.4.0-test5 Important changes: - The kernel patches have been split. You will need to apply the Extended Attributes(EA) patch prior to applying the ACL patch. - A small change in the on-disk format (EA blocks now count towards an inode's i_blocks counter). You do _not_ need to back up / restore ACLs when upgrading. Simply run the newly patched e2fsck. - The aget and aset utilities are now distributed in a separate package. I'd be very happy to see somebody volunteer :-) - Adapt the fileutils patch to fileutils-4.0x - Adapt the e2fsprogs patch to e2fsprogs-1.19 For now, the now code is here: <http://acl.bestbits.at/pre/> I will update the Web pages shortly.
