Sensiva Launches New Internet Navigational Tool Using Symbols Sensiva, Inc. today announced three new versions to run on Windows, Apple Macintosh and GNU/Linux Mountain View, California, September 5, 2000 - Sensiva, Inc. has unveiled a line of Internet navigational software that provides a consistent interface across different applications, different platforms and different languages. The software runs on three platforms-Windows, Apple Macintosh and GNU/Linux to allow people to universally use software and Internet applications by drawing symbols. "As we move forward, we have an obligation to help people to take advantage of this interconnected society," David Dupouy, Sensiva, Inc.'s chief executive officer said. The different platforms were developed as part of the company's strategy to allow users the option to choose their preferred platform and language anywhere, any time. Sensiva officials said the new Windows version along with a two-week beta version for Macintosh and GNU/Linux are available to be downloaded now at www.sensiva.com. Sensiva is also featured in their Partner's world leading products that were established over the past year. Some of Sensiva's clients include Casio, world leader in consumer electronics; Wacom, market leader in development and manufacture of graphic tablets; Synaptics, leader in development and manufacture of touchpads for notebook computers; and Kanitech International A/S in Denmark, original maker of a cordless pen that comes in place of a mouse. "We're gradually making the software a de-facto standard in all Internet and software applications," said Dupouy. A unique feature of Sensiva is not only the ability to execute applications through symbols but also the ability to link to Sensiva's Website from within the utility without having to open a browser window. This is a big step forward in Sensiva's strategy that says, at some point in the future (users) will be connected to the Internet all the time. Its unique software will change the way of navigating and exploring the Internet. Based on the latest version, Sensiva 2.5, the software is also at the heart of the Sensiva strategy, through which the company aims to distribute and pre-install the software via televisions, wireless phones and handheld devices in addition to PCs with the same consistent interface. This is unusual for software to be cross-platform compatible. The software will give users access to all of Sensiva's services on their multi-language Website, including its popular Forums that will be available to the public next week. The new Windows version along with a two-week beta version for Macintosh and GNU/Linux will be distributed to Sensiva's Partner's products and distribution channels, which include more than a million Sensiva users and almost 5,000 people a day who visit Sensiva's Website for computer information.
