The reason why the version number hasn't been increased as much as I originally intended is that I want to add extended attribute sharing in 0.7, and that is not done yet. The kernels supported now are 2.2.17 and 2.4.0-test8. Also, the latest versions of e2fsprogs (1.19) and fileutils (4.0z) are supported. There were several small changes from the last 0.6.0-pre46 patch and an ext2fs compatible feature flag is now being used, which prevents an unpatched e2fsck from cleaning up ACLs. No critical errors have been fixed during the last couple of pre-release versions.
