Linux Journal Announces Embedded Linux Supplement: Embedded Linux Journal

SEATTLE, WA -- Linux Journal, the monthly magazine of the Linux community, is proud to announce the publication of a special supplement to be released in October 2000. The supplement, titled Embedded Linux Journal, will focus on the use of open-source operating systems in embedded systems design, and more specifically, the use of Linux in developing and running these devices.

"The use of an open-source OS, such as Linux, offers many advantages for both the developers and users of embedded systems. Our upcoming supplement, Embedded Linux Journal, will look at the different ways Linux could be used in building and testing embedded systems, and at the advantages of having Linux embedded," said Linux Journal Publisher, Phil Hughes.

The Embedded Linux Journal supplement will be distributed to all North American Linux Journal subscribers, targeted associations and will be prominently displayed on newsstands with the November 2000 issue. Complimentary copies of the supplement may be requested at http://www.linuxjournal.com/embedded/. All other inquiries should be directed to embedded@linuxjournal.com.
