Subject: ANNOUNCE: kugar-1.0 Report Generator and Viewer

theKompany.com is pleased to announce the availability of Kugar v1.0. It
is available for download at http://www.thekompany.com/projects/kugar.

Kugar is a business report generation and viewer tool. It takes
application generated data and merges it with a template to produce a
high quality report that can be displayed or printed. Both data and
templates are specified in XML.

Kugar is implemented as a standalone viewer and as a KPart. Therefore
applications only have to worry about generating the data and can use
the KPart to provide report generation, viewing and printing
capabilities.

Konqueror can be used to view formatted reports simply by clicking on
the XML data file.

At the moment templates must be written by hand. If anybody is
interested in developing a graphical template designer then please get
in touch.
