METRO LINK SECURES $5.6 MILLION IN FUNDING FROM LINUX GLOBAL PARTNERS 

Fort Lauderdale, FL, September 22, 2000-Metro Link
(http://www.metrolink.com/) today announced the closing of a deal which
provides the company with $5.6 million in cash and stock from Linux
Global Partners (http://www.linuxglobalpartners.com/), a New York-based
venture capital firm. 

"Metro Link is proof positive of the viability of Linux-based companies
and the potential for future excellence," said Wm. Jay Roseman,
Co-Chairman of Linux Global Partners.  "We consider ourselves fortunate
to have been in the position to work with them." 

Linux Global Partners is the premier Linux holding company and has an
established presence in major segments within the Linux sector. It
concentrates on Linux start-up companies to capitalize rapidly on new
opportunities. 

Metro Link, a software development company founded in 1989, specializes
in graphical display technology solutions for Linux, UNIX, and embedded
operating systems.  Metro Link is also the official maintainer of the X
Window System. 

According to company officials, Metro Link hopes to experience
sequential quarterly growth in excess of 100% growing to more than $10
million in annualized revenue by the third quarter of 2001 making the
company a standout in the Linux and embedded markets. 

Company officials added that the cash infusion will bolster research and
development, sales and marketing, and working capital.

allows us to structure a deal differently than start-ups.  Our products
