FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Sensiva, Inc. and Wacom Co., Ltd. partner to offer Internet Navigation
Technology
in the Asia Pacific Rim

Mountain View, California, October 2, 2000- Leading manufacturer of computer
graphic tablets and electronic pens, Wacom Co., Ltd., is partnering with
Sensiva, Inc. to offer its clients interactive symbol recognition functionality
in all their tablet products. Together, people will not only be allowed
to copy and paste images directly into the computer but to also navigate
much faster through Internet and software applications using simple symbols.

Sensiva will be bundled in all Wacom product lines: Intuos intelligent
graphics tablet system; Graphire pressure-sensitive tablet with the cordless
mouse and pen; and the PL-400 and PL-500 LCD pen tablet systems. Sensiva
officials said the new integrated products expects to be distributed in
Korea, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South East Asian countries, Australia
and New Zealand starting in October, offered in English and Chinese.
"Sensiva demonstrates that the landscape is really changing (for graphic
designers). The emergence of the Internet and this new symbol recognition
technology with customizable capabilities is just opening up a completely
different set of opportunities for manufacturers of graphic tablets like
ourselves," said Hideki Nishino, Product Manager of Wacom Co., Ltd.

More and more companies partner with Sensiva in order to add tremendous
value to their products. Wacom users will benefit from the speed and pleasure
of controlling all their applications just by drawing symbols. "Both Wacom
and Sensiva are technologies designed to make the end-user's life simpler.
It was a natural choice for both companies to work together and offer
such a compelling package," said David Dupouy, CEO of Sensiva, Inc.

Sensiva instantly simplifies and unifies all software applications. With
Sensiva, users no longer need to learn different ways to do the same actions
in different applications. Users no longer need to remember and use many
hotkeys or menus across inconsistent software applications; they just
draw the same symbols to execute the same actions, like "Z" to Zoom in
all graphic software programs. It dramatically boosts productivity and
is the ideal companion of graphic tablets.

The decision to launch this series of products also puts Wacom, to a certain
extent, ahead of their competition. The new product bundles will give
users access to an optimized version of Sensiva's technology, including
its popular Forum and Plug-In Library.

Sensiva clients include other world-class leaders such as Casio, Synaptics
and are already used in ten languages in over 100 countries around the
world. Designed like no others in the world, Sensiva has brought extraordinary
versatility to ordinary tasks. Using symbols has added new levels of comfort
and control to these Company's' products. It's a unified way to navigate
applications and browse the Internet. It has set a new standard for using
symbols to control all of a user's applications and to navigate the Internet
with the capability to customize your own symbols with speed and ease.
