 Red Flag Linux Server - Traditional Chinese Version

(October 18, 2000 ----Hong Kong) Sun Wah Linux Limited ("SW Linux"), of Sun
Wah Hi-Tech Group ("SWHT"), and Red Flag Software Company Limited ("Red
Flag"), of the Chinese Academy of Sciences ("CAS"), have officially
launched the Red Flag Linux Server - Traditional Chinese Version.  

Included in this launch are Red Flag Linux Server 2.0 and Red Flag
E-business Start Kit 1.0. The former, run on 32-bit, 64-bit or higher-end
machines, optimizes server hardware performance; provides an operating
environment that is secure, stable and reliable; and supports key
Internet/Intranet-based applications. This product provides e-office which
can improve the efficiency of office work, a complete business
Internet/Intranet connection solution, an ISP/ICP solution which can
control website traffic and InterScan VirusWall network anti-virus
software. All of these functions combine for the best platform for network
business.

Red Flag Linux Server 2.0 was developed strictly in accordance with
international LI18NUX standards and General Public License regulations. Its
applicability covers enterprises, banks, the military, government
departments and ISP/ICP/IDC. Internationally renowned hardware and software
vendors including Compaq, Dell Computer, IBM, Borland, EdgeMatrix, Net-Tech
Linux, PC-cillin and Qcode greatly support Red Flag Linux and will also
provide compatible software and hardware. Targeting the growing m-commerce
market, Sun Wah Linux and EdgeMatrix have also embarked on a bundling
programme with WAPgate, residing on Red Flag Linux platform.

Red Flag E-business Start Kit 1.0 is an integrated solution for businesses
seeking effective internal information management and comprehensive
user-friendly and cost-effective e-commerce. It consists of six components:
(1) Red Flag Linux Server 2.0, which provides an operating environment that
is secure, stable and reliable; (2) e-Office, for users to easily transfer
internal data via the Internet, for example, system management information,
application forms, and document approval and collection; (3) e-Shop, where
users can easily create their own e-shops through the Internet; (4) Web
Mail, providing an inter-platform e-mail system manager designed for
businesses; (5) Web BBS, for customers to offer feedback and suggestions on
the message board; and (6) Ez2min, a remote monitoring software for the
Linux system operated through the browser.
