Trustix launches XPloy 2.0

XPloy from Trustix redefines systems management for Linux.

Trondheim, Norway, - November 21, 2000 - Trustix AS, a leading Internet
infrastructure software company providing Internet software for
management of systems, software, security and information, today
announced the release of the eBusiness Systems management tool for
Linux, XPloy 2.0.

XPloy is a fully graphical and easy-to-use Linux administration tool
that enables secure and remote management of Linux server resources
from one single point. XPloy is a scalable management solution
attractive to small businesses as well as to larger enterprises. The
remote management functionality is specially suited for ASPs. XPloy
runs on all leading Linux distributions, Trustix Secure Linux
included.

XPloy has a modular architecture. This architecture is improved in
this new version, making XPloy an even more dynamic and flexible
software solution. One of the main customer benefits of the
improvement is the new license system, simplifying any upgrade or
installation of modules. With XPloy 2.0 the customer only loads the
modules in use into the running environment. This limits resource
requirements of both the client and server to a minimum.

XPloy 2.0 includes an architectural upgrade from version 1.1 and new
features like Load balancing Module and Systems Operations
Monitor. The Load balancing module enables the customer to spread the
traffic load from a single server to a group of servers, hence
ensuring reliability and efficiency. The Systems Operations Monitor
Module provides information on server utilization and real-time data
important for monitoring the status of your servers. Like other XPloy
modules, multiple servers can be monitored from one client.

Pricing and availability XPloy's pricing structure is based on a
subscription model. XPloy can be subscribed to either directly from
Trustix' eShop or from the network of distributors and resellers
(http://www.trustix.com).

The monthly subscription rate is $ 39 per month per server (3 years
subscription).

The subscription rate includes all modules released to date, and any
related updates.
