Ft. Lauderdale, FL November 29, 2000 -- Metro Link Inc., the leader in
graphics, MPEG playback and real-time video for set top boxes and
internet appliances was selected by ATI Technologies Inc. (TSE: ATY,
NASDAQ: ATYT) as a premier partner in their recently announced
Technology Access Program (TAP). This program provides early access to
ATI's cutting edge set top box and digital TV products and
technologies. The program is designed to showcase, support and promote
select ATI strategic partners by giving these partners access to
pre-released hardware development kits, documentation, source code and

services specifically for ATI set top box products and reference
platforms.

"Metro Link's unique multiple platform build and test environment
uniquely positions us to support ATI's products and customers on
multiple operating systems like LynxOS, embedded Linux, VxWorks and
QNX. It also allows us to support ATI's graphics cards and chip sets on
multiple hardware architectures like X86, MIPS, PowerPC and StrongArm,"
said Morgan Von Essen, Metro Link President and CEO. "In addition,
Metro Link is committed to providing hardware accelerated video/MPEG
solutions, customer support and driver development for ATI's next
generation MIPS-based set top box reference designs and digital TV
technologies."

"ATI has worked with Metro Link for more than eight years because of
their industry-leading technology in driver development and hardware
support," said Phil Eisler, Vice President Convergence Business Unit,
ATI Technologies Inc. "We look forward to our new TAP program helping
to further develop our business relationship with Metro Link, as well as
