The port of the current SuSE distribution to Compaq 64-Bit-technology, underlines SuSE's technical competence as the leading provider of server solutions. In addition to the Alpha platform, SuSE Linux also supports Intel and PowerPC as well as the SPARC and S/390 architectures.
