Trustix launches XSentry Firewall 1.5

Firewall administration has never been so cost effective, easy, and secure.

Trondheim, Norway, - November 29, 2000 - Trustix AS, a leading
Internet infrastructure software company providing Internet software
for management of systems, software, security, and information, today
announced the release of XSentry Firewall 1.5, a premium solution for
network security administration combining high performance, stable and
secure firewall with a low total cost of ownership.

XSentry Firewall is the new generation firewall that allows users to
work with a unique graphical representation of their networks, and
then work with this model on their desktop in order to graphically
secure policies for the firewall. XSentry is effortless firewall
configuration. With XSentry, users do not have to be troubled with
editing complex sets of rules in order to define security policies.

The new XSentry Firewall 1.5 satisfies most companies firewall
requirements. The XSentry Firewall is a software firewall consisting
of both a firewall server and a client. The firewall server has been
improved and made an even more resilient firewall with some added
features. The new firewall client makes it possible to administer more
than one XSentry Firewalls from one client. The XSentry Firewall
features a graphical user interface (GUI), which enables rapid and
secure graphical modeling of firewall configuration.

The full-scale version (XSentry Firewall 4 zones) provides options for
up to 4 zones aimed at companies and public institutions that
administrate own mail servers and web servers etc. In addition,
Trustix provides a smaller scaled version of XSentry Firewall (XSentry
Firewall 2 zones) for users that only require limited firewall
functionality. Both versions are specially suited for ASPs.
