Subject: [s390] SuSE makes publicly available crypto packages for the GA version

Hi,

the packages listed below use strong cryptography, and thus were not
included in our international CD-set.

On vivd demand we make these crypto packages available now at our
german ftp server for download.

please check ftp://ftp.suse.de/pub/suse/s390/7.0/sec1 for the
following crypto packages:

    fwproxys.rpm:  The SuSE Proxy Suite - FTP-Proxy
    gpg.rpm:       GNU Privacy Guard, en/decrypts and signs data
    gpgaddon.rpm:  Additional ciphers for GnuPG for PGP2 compatiblity
    libmcrpd.rpm:  Development package for libmcrypt
    libmcrpt.rpm:  Data encryption library
    mcrypt.rpm:    Replacement for crypt command
    mod_ssl.rpm:   Strong cryptography for the Apache 1.3 webserver
    muttssl.rpm:   Mail program Mutt (with SSL)
    openssh.rpm:   Secure shell client and server (remote login program)
    openssl.rpm:   Secure Sockets and Transport Layer Security
    pgp.rpm:       PGP encryption software
    pgp4pine:      PGP/GnuPG encryption for pine

These versions have been produced with the GA-Version, that is
available for public download.

You may use them safely for proofs of concept.

For production systems, we strongly reccomend you, to use the
maintained version available for our customers:

The maintained version contains current compiler and kernel fixes from
SuSE and from IBM, and all packages are consistently rebuild with
these current tools.  Furthermore, it contains recent security fixes
for security related packages.
